Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 01 September 2026  ·  Last updated: 19/09/2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Elseif Technologies Private Limited, Plot No. 9, Door No. 2, Balamurugan Nagar 3rd Street, Chennai City Corporation, Tamil Nadu, India, (“Kaassu”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They apply when you visit kaassu.com, create an account, install the Kaassu browser extension, or use any related service (together, the “Services”). This is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not need a physical or digital signature.

Please read them carefully. By creating an account, installing the extension or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The short version

  • Kaassu earns a commission from merchants when you buy through us, and shares part of it with you as cashback.
  • Cashback is not guaranteed. It is paid only when the merchant confirms your purchase and pays us. Returns, cancellations and non-tracked orders do not earn cashback.
  • To earn cashback, start from Kaassu (or activate it in the extension) before you shop, and do not use other coupon, cashback or affiliate links during the purchase.
  • The price tracker is for information only. Prices and availability can change at any time, and we do not sell the products.
  • Fraud, fake accounts and abuse lead to forfeited cashback and account closure.

1 Our Services

  • Cashback: you can earn cashback on qualifying purchases made from participating merchants (“Merchants”) after clicking through from Kaassu or activating cashback in the extension.
  • Price tracker: you can view price history, compare prices and set price-drop alerts for products on supported shopping sites, on our website and through the extension.
  • Extension: a browser add-on that shows price information and cashback offers on supported shopping sites.

We are an intermediary. We are not a party to your purchase, and we are not the seller, supplier or manufacturer of anything you buy from a Merchant. We may add, change or withdraw features at any time.

2 Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in India.
  • You must give accurate, current information when you register and keep it up to date, including your email, mobile number and payout details.
  • You may hold only one account. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • Purchases you make through the Services must be for your own genuine personal use, not for resale or business purposes.

3 How cashback works

3.1 Earning cashback

You earn cashback when you complete a “Qualifying Transaction”: a genuine purchase from a Merchant that (a) you started by clicking through from Kaassu or activating cashback in the extension while signed in, (b) the Merchant or its affiliate network tracks and reports to us, (c) is delivered and not returned, cancelled or refunded, and (d) for which the Merchant actually pays us the commission.

3.2 Statuses and timing

  • Pending: we have recorded your order, but the Merchant has not confirmed it. Pending cashback is an estimate, not money owed to you.
  • Confirmed: the Merchant has confirmed the order and the return period has ended. This can take 90 days or more from the purchase date.
  • Paid: confirmed cashback that has been transferred to you.
  • Cancelled or rejected: the Merchant reversed or did not confirm the order.

3.3 Rates and changes

Cashback rates shown on Kaassu are set by what Merchants pay us and can change at any time, including after you click. The rate that applies is the rate in force when your order is tracked, and you receive the amount based on the commission the Merchant actually reports to us. This may be lower than the rate advertised. We are not liable for any difference between the cashback you expected and the cashback you receive.

3.4 When cashback may not be tracked or may be refused

To give yourself the best chance of earning cashback, please:

  • be signed in and start from Kaassu or activate cashback in the extension before you add items to your cart;
  • allow cookies and turn off ad-blockers or tracking-protection features that block affiliate tracking for the session;
  • not switch to another cashback, coupon, deal or affiliate site or link before you pay, and not use a coupon code that did not come from the Merchant or from Kaassu (unless the Merchant’s terms allow it);
  • not use a VPN, and complete the purchase in one browsing session; and
  • not pay in a way excluded by the Merchant (for example, gift cards, wallet top-ups, or certain payment methods).

Cashback will not be paid, or may be withdrawn, where: the order is not tracked or not paid to us by the Merchant; the order is returned, cancelled, refunded or exchanged; the product or category is excluded by the Merchant’s cashback terms (such as gift cards, vouchers, certain electronics, or some services); you were not signed in; you used a cashback or affiliate link from another provider; or we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or breach of these Terms. Each Merchant’s specific conditions are shown on its Kaassu page and form part of these Terms.

3.5 Missing cashback

If a tracked order does not appear, or you think an amount is wrong, raise a claim through email [email protected] within 30 days of the purchase, with the order ID, invoice and date. We will check our click records and raise it with the Merchant. We cannot guarantee a result. If the Merchant does not pay us, we cannot pay you. Claims made after the time limit may not be accepted.

3.6 Corrections

If cashback is credited or paid to you in error, or later reversed by a Merchant, we may adjust your balance, deduct the amount from future cashback, or ask you to repay it.

4 Payouts

  • You can withdraw confirmed cashback once your balance reaches the minimum of ₹99, using the methods we offer (for example bank transfer / gift vouchers). We may change the methods or the minimum, with notice on the website.
  • You are responsible for giving correct payout details. We are not liable for payments sent to details you gave us that turn out to be wrong or that you are not entitled to use.
  • We may ask for identity, KYC or tax details (such as PAN) before paying, and we may deduct taxes that we are required by law to deduct. You are responsible for your own tax obligations.
  • Payouts are normally processed within 5–7 working days of your request. We may delay or hold a payout for verification or fraud checks.
  • Cashback has no cash value until it is paid, is not a deposit or wallet balance, does not earn interest, and cannot be transferred or sold.

5 Expiry and account closure

If you do not sign in to your account for 24 consecutive months, we may treat your unpaid balance as expired. We will send a reminder to your registered email or mobile number at least 30 days before this happens. If you close your account, confirmed cashback above the minimum payout threshold can be withdrawn first; pending and below-threshold balances may be forfeited. Section 10 explains forfeiture for misuse.

6 Price tracker

  • Prices, discounts, availability, delivery details and product information come from the Merchants’ sites and third-party sources. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and can change without notice.
  • Price history charts show past prices we have recorded and do not predict future prices. Price-drop alerts are a convenience and are not guaranteed to arrive, to be on time, or to reflect the price you will actually pay.
  • Always check the final price, seller and terms on the Merchant’s site before buying. We do not sell products and are not responsible for any purchase decision you make based on our information.
  • You may not use price data from the Services for resale, scraping or building a competing service.

7 Browser extension

  • We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for your own use, subject to these Terms.
  • The extension asks for browser permissions to work on supported shopping sites. Our Privacy Policy explains what it reads and what it does not.
  • Cashback tracking through the extension is started only when you activate it. We do not replace or insert affiliate links without your action.
  • You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the extension, or use it to automate purchases, generate fake clicks or evade tracking rules, except to the extent that the law allows.
  • You can uninstall the extension at any time through your browser. We may update it automatically to fix bugs, add features or keep it compliant with browser store policies.

8 Communications

By registering, you agree that we may contact you by email, SMS, WhatsApp, calls, app and browser notifications about your account, cashback status, payouts, price alerts and important service updates. Where you have agreed, we may also send offers and marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link, your account settings, or by contacting us. Service messages that are necessary to operate your account, such as security and payout notices, cannot be switched off while you have an account.

9 Acceptable use

You must not:

  • give false information, use someone else’s identity, or use a payment method or payout account you are not entitled to use;
  • create multiple accounts, or use bots, scripts, click farms or other automation to generate clicks, orders or alerts;
  • make purchases only to earn cashback and then return or cancel them, or otherwise manipulate a Merchant’s offers or our tracking;
  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm, overload or interfere with the Services, other users or the Merchants;
  • post or share content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, infringing or misleading, or that contains malicious code;
  • scrape, copy or resell our data or content, or build a competing service using them; or
  • run paid advertising that targets our brand name or uses our links or trademarks without our written permission.

10 Suspension, termination and forfeiture

We may suspend or close your account, stop tracking, or withhold or cancel cashback if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, committed or attempted fraud, or are misusing the Services, or if the law requires us to. Where we do this because of fraud or serious misuse, unpaid cashback may be forfeited, and we may report the matter to the relevant authorities. Where practical, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) survive termination.

11 Merchants and third-party content

Merchants’ names, logos and offers belong to them, and Kaassu is not endorsed by or affiliated with any Merchant unless we say so. Your purchase contract is with the Merchant. We are not responsible for the Merchant’s products, prices, delivery, refunds, returns, warranties, customer service, or privacy practices. Third-party sites and content linked from the Services are outside our control, and we are not responsible for them. You should read the Merchant’s own terms before you buy.

12 Intellectual property

The Services, including the Kaassu name, logo, website, extension, software, designs, data and content, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use them only as these Terms allow. If you submit reviews, feedback or other content, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce it in connection with the Services, and you confirm that you have the right to do so.

13 Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law permits, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that cashback will be tracked on every purchase, or that any price, offer or information shown is accurate or current. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including Merchant or network outages, changes to Merchant programmes, browser or device changes, or internet failures.

14 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Kaassu and its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, savings, opportunity or data, arising out of or in connection with the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the confirmed cashback owed to you that is the subject of the claim, and (b) ₹500. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including for fraud, or any rights you have under consumer protection law.

15 Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for losses, claims and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16 Changes to these Terms and the Services

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes that affect your rights, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email, in your account or on the website, before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after the new Terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and close your account.

17 Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data, and forms part of these Terms.
